The Pretty One Samhain Shamanic Drum
Sister to The Wild One, this drum was also born through the Samhain veil, carrying the bright and tender essence of the pale fallow doe. Where her sister moves like wind and fire, The Pretty One holds the gentler flame, the quiet grace of Brigid tending the eternal hearth.
Her hide comes from the doe’s rump, marked by the delicate white spotting and dark spine that reveal her wild lineage. The pattern flows like constellations down her back, a map of where body meets starlight.
Prepared wholly by my hands fleshed, cleaned, and stretched in love —she holds the full continuum of transformation: from death to new life within a single turn of the moon. With only touch, breath, and time.
Her voice is softer, shimmering, and heart-led a call to beauty and to belonging. She carries the gentleness of the doe, the innocence of wildness that has never forgotten grace.
Hair-on drums carry a different kind of resonance deeper, more textured, more alive. The hair itself becomes part of the sound, a soft veil that holds the spirit of the animal close, giving each beat a living pulse.
A 14-inch fallow deer hide stretched upon ash light, balanced, and strong.
A drum of beauty and stillness; of wild devotion made gentle.
May her voice remind you that softness, too, is sacred.
Prepared & birthed in ceremony on Samhain.
