Barn Owl Dream Rattle
This Dream Rattle was birthed into being as the Full Snow Moon energy began to gather around us. These past wintery weeks have felt full of deep dreaming and deep hibernation. And whilst these days have someimes felt long and unending as the first stiring of spring are carried on the breeze there is remembering, that we often need a deep winter to flourish and grow. This rattle is crafted from Deer Hide, which was gently nurtured in waters drawn from the Well on this land, that runs deep, deep underground. Infused with both Rose Quartz crystals & Rose petals and held in a patch of Cleavers under the Imbolc night sky so that Brigid might bless this hide with her healing powers as she passes through the hedgerows on this night.
There is gift offered here to be in that stillness and that Introspection, just a little while longer & from this place to slow down, to really feel into your body where the light is coming in or where the density still exists. Can you breath into those spaces, can you soften & surrender to a slower, softer and more embodied awakening.
Just like the Barn Owl there is a remembering of the magic and power in being able to Navigating the dark within and without, held by a deep listening and the deepest of intuition to enable you navigate the world around and inside us, in the complete darkness with pinpoint accuracy to find just what you need. There is a breath of abundant creativity here – ummmm, what wonders are you bring forth here.
Held on a hawthorn stick which lay at the edge of a field, a short distance from the Hedgerows that boundary this land, closely associated with Spring and one of the most sacred of trees, symbolising both love and Protection.
Filled with Crystals kin of Black Obsidian much like the owl, associated with deep mysteries. This stone is both a powerful protector and known as a spiritual cleanser to help allow us to see things more clearly.
Finished with a Hand paint Barn Owl , painted in Angelus leather paint, this is a beautiful and powerful and one of kind hand crafted Dream Rattle.
