Animal Body - Year Long Mythical Descent

Animal Body - Year Long Mythical Descent

Six seasonal weekends + a 4-day retreat (2026–2027)
A journey of slow remembering, instinctual reclamation, and the return to the body as wild oracle.

There is a creature inside you.
It is not lost, only waiting.
Waiting for your breath to deepen.
For your skin to soften.
For your feet to meet the land and remember they once belonged to the herd, the den, the pack.

Animal Body is a year long thic and embodied container — a deepening spiral of memory, ritual, movement, and dream. Together, we will cross six ritual thresholds, gathering every two months for a weekend of ceremony, archetypal exploration, and somatic return. The journey will culminate in a final 4 day retreat, a rite of integration and return.

Who This Is For

This container is open to both men and women and may be for you if:

  • You are longing to return to your animal knowing — breath, body, instinct, wildness

  • You are ready to move at a gentle but deep pace, in right relationship with your nervous system

  • You crave archetypal embodiment, sacred ritual, and mythic community

  • You seek a committed path over time — seasonal, embodied, real

The Arc We Will Follow

Each weekend begins on Friday at 6pm with a ceremonial arrival — dream seeding, body listening, and descent. From there, we enter a mythic current of ritual, movement, deep imagery, mask work, grief-tending, and elemental ceremony.

Across the year, you will also craft a ritual mask — not of performance, but of revelation. This mask becomes the face of your deep animal self. It emerges not from the mind, but from dream, gesture, shadow, and bone memory. You will move with it, breathe with it, speak through it — and in time, be witnessed wearing it in sacred space.

Our six archetypal thresholds:

  1. Root & Remember – Grounding the nervous system, animal dreaming, ancestral threads

  2. Wild Descent – Shedding cultural skins, grief rituals, reclaiming instinctual voice

  3. Predator & Prey – Power, boundaries, survival dances, relational knowing

  4. Shadow & Eros – Shame alchemy, sensuality, reclaiming the wild erotic

  5. The Masked Ones – Embodied archetypes, mask ritual, communal witnessing

  6. Homecoming – Integration, myth weaving, devotion to the Wild Law

  • Final 4-Day Retreat – Rite of return, fire ceremony, the wild self re-membered

Your Guide

Louise
Louise is a ritualist, animist, and practitioner of ancestral craft, walking in the footsteps of the cunning folk tradition. Her work is rooted in the long arc of her own return to the body — a homecoming guided by grief, instinct, and the slow awakening of the wild within.

She is a ceremonialist and guide, shaped by years of working with death, ancestral reverence, and land-based ritual. Her craft draws from traditional tanning, animist listening, and the soul-wisdom of the body. She holds spaces where myth breathes through movement, where grief and power share a common root, and where the animal self is not only welcomed — but remembered.

This work is sacrosanct to her.
It is not a modality, but a blueprint — one carved by her own journey of return.
She walks beside others not as an expert, but as a companion to the wild threshold, guided by the whisper of bone, breath, and ancient knowing
