Shamanic Drums - Bespoke Birthing’s
As Drum Maker co creating magic tools with our kin is something that holds a beautiful and deep resonance to me – it calls to me in from the depth of my bones. Each time I birth a Drum into this world there is a unmistakable sound of a new life stepping forward onto these timelines, each with their own unique spirit and their own medicine, which always arises through the birthing process.
I birth all my drums in deep ceremony, filled with rituals, prayers and powerful Intentions to ensure that the Animal and Tree who will become your drum have been truly honored and loved throughout the process.
It is incredibly important to my own ethos to know the story and the provenance of the hides used in my work. Due to the powerful intentions behind the making of any shamanic tool I only work with select suppliers who hold traditional values and a deep reverence for their work.
Commission me to Birth your Shamanic Drum
The Exchange from me to birth a Bespoke Shamanic Drum for you is dependent on a number of factors, such as size and choice of hides. As a guide a 14 inch Drum, with Red Deer Hide and a crystal in the handle will be £325.
When you commission me to birth your drum we will explore if there is a specific time that you would like your drum birthed, for example this may be over a Solstice or Cross Quarter, or maybe on a Dark Moon, Full Moon, or to coincide with a special date.
We will also discuss :
Choice of wood from your Drum Hoop- Oak, Ash, Birch, willow
Hide - Red Deer, Horse, Reindeer
Fire Etching on the Hoop, this could be a design or words that resonate with your heart.
Hand Painted Drum Design ( Optional, and normally after discussion with Drum!)
Choice of design in the handle - for example, cross, spiral cross, trispiral, Goddess or Stag.
Option to have a crystal woven in to the handle.

Creation Story of how your drum came to be and any messages or insights that were spoken during the creation process.
